Essential Oils are nature’s wonderful way to make us feel better through aromatherapy or appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds us every day. They even make us smell delicious and attract the opposite sex. What I like most about essential oils, other than their physical and mental healing properties, is that when I use them as perfume oils, I can make them as strong or light as I want and the oils continue to produce a scent as your body warms.
Essential oils don’t have that “alcohol” preservative scent that most modern perfumes have and a little goes a long way. I can choose the scents I wish to blend together and make a citrus, musk or floral scent depending on my mood. I use them as perfume oils, aromatherapy or put a few drops in a hot bath and moisturize my skin as well as “de-stress” from the tensions of my day.
If you don’t feel you have the time or creativity to make your own scents, I would love the opportunity to create a special scent for you. Before you jump into the ordering your own personalized scent, keep a few things in mind. If you are allergic to certain foods or plants, you will most likely be allergic to the essential oils. As with anything you put on your skin, test a small area before you slather it all over your body to ensure there are no skin or allergy reactions. If you are allergic to things with latex in them, scents or carrier oils like avocado or banana may cause you to have a reaction.
